Creating an Organization in BackOps
How to create a BackOps organization, from naming it and choosing BackOps Pro seats to paying or starting a trial and inviting your crew.
Creating an organization sets up your company's workspace and its BackOps Pro license in one flow. Anyone with a BackOps account can do it, and the person who creates it becomes the organization's first admin and takes its first seat.
Start the Wizard
Select New organization (the + button) on the left rail. If you do not belong to any organization yet, Home also offers Create organization. The wizard is a full page with a step counter.
Name your organization
Enter the Organization name and your Billing address. You can also add a Logo and pick a Color, the brand color everyone sees while working in the organization. Select Continue.
How big is your team?
Choose how many BackOps Pro seats to buy, at least one. Give a seat to everyone who plans and runs your events. Select Continue to payment, or Start a 14-day trial instead.

What You Get
When the wizard finishes you have an organization with you as its organization admin, a crew record for you, and a BackOps Pro seat assigned to you. Each person invited in the last step uses one of your BackOps Pro seats, so you cannot invite more people than you have open seats. People who already have a BackOps account are added at once; others get an invitation email. They join with basic organization access; give them more from Members.
A trial covers BackOps Pro only. If you pay by bank account and the bank still has to verify it, the organization runs on a trial until verification completes. Licensing explains what each seat and pass gives.
An organization cannot exist without a license. Every organization is created with either a purchase or a trial, so there is no free organization to set up first and license later.
