PUT
/resourceTypes/{resourceTypeId}Updates a resource type's own fields. Sections, placements, rate cards and components have their own operations. defaultRuleSetIds is reconciled to the list sent, and resources inheriting the defaults are re-evaluated. Omitting trackingType leaves it as stored; changing it is refused once the change would break existing data.
